Builder's Path: Weekend Quest

TATY Builders Path: Weekend Quest is a thoughtfully designed 3-session weekend carpentry journey that guides children from foundational building skills to creative independence and responsible power tool use.

• August 15, 22 and 29 - 8:00-9:45am
• September 5, 12, and 19 - 3:30-5:15pm
• Project: Physics-based games of chance or skill (Pinball Machine, Marble Run, Plinko)

The program begins with Kidpentry Foundations (Day 1), where children learn tool safety, follow guided steps, and gain confidence through structured builds. It then opens up into Creative Build (Day 2), allowing young makers to explore their own ideas, make decisions, and problem-solve using real materials.

In Powertools 101 (Day 3), children are introduced to age-appropriate power tools with a strong emphasis on focus, patience, and responsibility—skills that extend far beyond the workshop. 

Builders Path meets children where they are while encouraging them to step forward as capable, independent builders.

This is more than a summer program—it’s a path toward self-belief.
